A British-born, Berlin-based writer and interdisciplinary artist, Otis works between literature and sound. Drawing on a rich lineage of Black musicality, their poetry explores the body, family and race. Biblical stories are reimagined through a queer lens, while memories mingle with dreams. The rhythm of language carries as much meaning as the words themselves.
At Dametto, we gather to listen to Otis’ poems, share a meal and let the conversation unfold.
